I currently have a 15,12 & 4 yr old and live in the midwest!

We just recently bought a house and are newbies in our community.

This month has been a lot of packing/unpacking... figuring out all the homeowner essentials (we've only currently rented) and things we need to make a house a home.

Spiritual Mismatch by Lee Strobel (He wrote The Case for Christianity) . He talks about how to live & love a spouse who isn't on the same page with you (in his case it was him that wasn't the Christian when his wife started to follow Christ and he gives great advice from that side of things -- and he did eventually become a Christian)

This has been a great read and it's similar to my situation now & I really liked it.

Eats|| ALL THE SMOKED MEATS
Hubs bought himself a new smoker grill and OMG. We've made Ribs and a Pork butt and loins... they've all turned out SO GOOD, I'm staring to think a smoker is fool proof, even took over on the Pork Loin and it turned out amazing.

Wears|| All the comfy things {per usual} I bought this "dress" from Kohl's this month it's Vera Wang brand (and in the nightgown section *shhhh*) and I literally love it so much -- It has pockets. I wear it often.

I also got this one, and also love it but it does look more like a night gown, except with leggings (which I might rock in the winter) so I wear it to sleep in & it's comfy.

That one is called a "Caftan" and I've always loved "muumuu" type big flowy dresses, this year is the first time I've heard the term caftan, but I guess it's the new thing. I also recently hear about the company Dwell & Slumber and they're dresses looked SO DANG COMFY I decided to try one, since dresses are so cozy and easy for summer. I ordered their Classic Caftan in Shibori

(if it's sold out join their email list, they sell out quickly but restock as well)

this company only sells these dresses in two styles. I haven't tried their cocoon style, but I prefer the big longer sleeves and the sleek, hidden side pockets, personally.

Pregnant woman and non-pregos (me!) alike loves these dresses!

Our HAMMOCK!

I really thought I would get a rope hammock, I had one before & it was comfy & cute -- I mostly liked the look of it -- apparently someone else did too when we lived in Iowa because it was stolen out of our back yard.

But the hubs did some research (aka googling) and said good thing were said about the Brazilian style hammock. I listened to him and I'm glad I did because it's SO COMFORTABLE and truely appreciate by butt chucks not spilling out the bottom.
